Lovely little restaurant with really nice and helpful staff. Beautiful interior. They took the time to talk us through the menu and all the various dishes we ordered were delicious (with very generous portion sizes). Would recommend to everyone.

Homey that's the best way to describe Alcântara50. Loved the attention to detail, the familiarity with you are welcome d to 'join the family.
And, sure enough, the tastes shared are all what locals, real Portuguese actually eat at home.
We had Alheira (poultry-based sausage) and THE very best octopus I've ever had. It was tender, perfectly spiced, and absolutely delicious!
A great option for those, who like us, want to avoid touristy places.

This place has amazing food and the friendly host has good English despite a Portuguese only menu. It felt very authentic - the place was full of locals. Don’t mind the appearance of the neighbourhood. We had salmon and octopus with mussels as an app.

Great little gem off the main street. This Portuguese family restaurant serves a diverse and tasty menu of homemade dishes. Not touristic at all and full of locals.
The owners are extremely friendly and will gladly translate the menu if needed.

Likeable place with convivial owners and tiled walls decorated with customer testimonials in many languages. The menu is in Portuguese only, but the owners will translate into English and help you decide on a meal. Food has a home cooked feel and is good. Atmosphere very welcoming. We liked it.

You're likely to need a reservation! One of the best spots for traditional Portuguese food, with brilliant house wine to boot. Get the farinheira 👌🏼
